Bespoke Heritage Advice
Some projects need support beyond the core advice or heritage statement service. Recept offers additional services where extra work is needed to help move a project forward efficiently, while keeping the scope of the main instruction clear and proportionate.
Additional services are usually provided alongside Video Advice or a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 heritage statement. They are intended for cases where a project needs agreed extra input, rather than as stand-alone services in their own right.
Additional services may include
Fast-track work where a quicker turnaround is needed.
Additional research beyond the standard agreed scope.
A short follow-up note after a video advice session, where requested.
Application support or related heritage input linked to an ongoing instruction.
Revisions or additional work where the scope changes after the original instruction.
Where additional work is needed, it will be discussed and agreed in advance so that there is no uncertainty about what is included within the original fee. This is intended to keep the main service clear, avoid hidden assumptions and ensure that extra work is only commissioned where it is genuinely needed.
In some cases, a project may begin with Video Advice and then move on to a heritage statement or agreed add-on support once the issues are clearer. If you are unsure what level of service you need, we can usually advise on the most proportionate starting point.
